8 Day Silent Retreat for Deep Rest in Nature (Finland)
With Maiju Vohlonen
July 20 - 27, 2026
This 8-day retreat offers something simple — and increasingly rare.
Space.
Space to step away from constant input, expectations, and stimulation.
Space to rest deeply, in your own rhythm, without pressure to perform, participate, or engage.
This is not an activity-based retreat.
There is no fixed schedule, no group program, and no expectation to socialize.
Instead, you are invited into a quiet, natural environment where you can slow down at your own pace and reconnect with yourself.
The retreat begins with a personal welcome and orientation, followed by a shared transition into digital detox. A welcome dinner on arrival day offers a final moment of connection, after which the space gently settles into silence.
From there, the experience becomes your own.
You may spend your days walking in the forest, resting, reflecting, swimming in the lake, or simply doing nothing. Optional self-led practices are available through the Retreat Guide, offering gentle support if and when you feel drawn to them.
Silence is held as a shared intention — not as a strict rule, but as a way to reduce external noise and allow something deeper to settle.
Meals are simple, nourishing, and self-guided, creating a gentle rhythm to your days.
For many, the first days are an adjustment.
And then, something begins to shift.
In eight days, you are given the space to step out of the noise — and remember what it feels like to truly rest.
